The U.N. has done it again!
It wasn't bad enough that the U.N. had appointed Libya to the Human Rights Council. It wasn't bad enough that they finally removed them from that same Council while only postponing a vote to present that country an award for its human rights record.
Forget about it having Cuba on the Commission on Sustainable Development or Somalia and Sudan on the executive committee of the U.N.'s refugee agency.
The world has been a witness to so many questionable U.N. moves and non-moves in the past. It has seen that organizations uncannily consistent ability to be extremely slow on the uptake and on the wrong side of so many issues.
