The ACLU filed a motion to stop Trump from deporting a group of Venezuelans believed to be Tren de Aragua gang members. Trump declared the gang terrorists. 

US District Judge James Boasberg preemptively issued a 14-day restraining order to prevent the administration from evoking the 1789 Alien Enemies Act as justification for deporting illegal immigrants convicted of crimes without hearings. 

US Representative Brandon Gill (R-TX) says he's filing articles of impeachment against the judge. Boasberg was the judge in charge of FISA when it was used to illegally spy on Trump with the intent of ousting him from office.

Update (1220ET): In response to judge James Boasberg's move to halt the Trump administration's deportation of alleged gang members, Rep. Brandon Gill (R-TX) says he's filing articles of impeachment against the judge. 

"I'll be filing Articles of Impeachment against activist judge James Boasberg this week," Gill posted on X.
