Tyger grew up in the mountains of Colorado, but has lived in Phoenix, Arizona since dirt was invented out in the Sonoran Desert. He was educated in graphic arts and owned an advertising agency for more than 20 years. In 1987, he started writing software and has authored several commercial programs, including a strategic game of chance he named FIVE PLAY Casino™. He is the Director of Photography and a web designer for USA Web Advertising.
Tyger has two cats and enjoys outdoor sports such as fishing, hiking, boating and swimming as well as traveling all over Arizona and other western states. Tyger is a member of American Mensa, and is into playing games like chess, Boggle, Stratego, and MasterMind. His artistic talents and his love for animals and nature have inspired a passion for photography in him, he believes.
"Photography is a natural for me because I approach it with an artist's eye," he says. "The new digital cameras also make it easier since they are especially well suited for taking photos for use on the Web. I can take the picture, upload it to my computer and then retouch and resize the image all electronically."
