Gentlemen:  When it comes to religion, I am an independent thinker!  I'm also a vegetarian.  I also have seen all religious craziness and from my experiences and the crap that's going on in Islam world, you can't beat them for barbaric acts in today's world such as FGM, cutting off hands, acid in women's faces, stonings, burkas, beheadings and total subjugation of women.  Islam sucks and Mohammed proved a barbarian maniac.

Sorry, but you're talking about me, and I'm not a Christian or member of any religious faith. I was a longtime atheist that turned agnostic after I learned too much and now have to admit the possibility of the existence of God, but can't prove or disprove it so I keep my mind open and hope for more clues.  Sorry, but Islam is the world's most intolerant religion, nothing else even comes close, and any example you want to mention of religions doing bad things I'm sure I can top it with an example from them.  Even the Crusades were only a campaign to regain Jerusalem from Muslim control so that pilgrims whom they treated like merde could visit it without being oppressed. It wasn't a campaign to extirpate Islam and substitute Christianity like Islam had been doing to them since day one.

Yes, it's about day one. From day one Islam has been about spreading the territory ruled by Allah and his Sharia outward from Mecca then holding it at all costs, and for them all options are on the table, especially fear and violence.  Christianity spread not their way but by preaching and conversion, albeit with pagan nations they would convert the monarch and then expect him to order his subjects to convert with him, which was his call not theirs. Yes, even with Christianity the union of church and state bears evil fruit, which is why America separated them and showed the world the way. With Islam mosque and state are ordered to be one by Allah, you try to countermand his orders, many have tried in vain.  Yes, the Inquisition was bad and repressive, but a Muslim mob killed more Jews in one 24-hour period in Granada, Spain in 1066 than the Inquisition did in all its centuries. As to modern aberrations like the KKK and Rev. Jim Jones, they twisted the Bible to their causes, whereas from day one Islam's Quran has commanded all the bad things in the name of Allah, which is a huge difference, since their final prophet Muhammad and his authority as Allah's mouthpiece can never be questioned or even insulted or Muslims will try to kill you, even if you're a Muslim, which is yet another factoid proving that Islam is the world's most intolerant religion. Take any "moderate" Muslim to dinner then insult Muhammad and watch the real thing come out of its thin skin, sorry, read Quran 5:33 where Allah tells Muslims what to do and how, the horror, the horror.  As to the Iraq War, the U.S. didn't "massacre over 1.3 million innocent civilians", you're nuts.  If that's what we wanted we had the power to massacre them all and create a giant parking lot, instead we spent our blood and treasure defending them from each others' Muslim sectarian Shiite vs. Sunni vs. Kurd violence while trying to build a democratic republic, and are now leaving and hoping it takes, which it probably won't unless they give up Islam first.  As to the West, Christianity and Judaism went through a reformation, but Islam never has, and its medieval mindset is still in charge, which is why you need to take a few mo. of spare time and take my free online Islam history course to learn the real facts and understand how Islam is on a violent collision with the modern world and must either change or cause unimaginable horror that makes all your examples seem like nothing.  Only Muslims will strap an A-bomb to their backsides and set it off in America for Allah expecting paradise for mass murder like he promises in Quran 9:111. First, please allow me to express my thorough disgust for all forms of organized religion.

With that out of the way, I so beg to differ with that statement that "Islam is the world's most intolerant ideology" - No doubt whoever said that is a devout Christian.  Only a member of said cult would express such an ignorant and biased opinion.  Christians conveniently forget that the history of their particular brand of delusion includes faith-based campaigns such as the Crusades, the Inquisition, the KKK and, more recently, the invasion of Iraq and resulting massacre of over 1.3 million innocent civilians.  And, oh, yes!  that was a Christian-faith based initiative as one George W. Bush, invaded Iraq under the direct instructions of his [Christian] god.  In addition to the aforementioned aberration, Christianity has also spawned human waste such as Sarah Palin, Fred Phelps, the Rev. Jimmy Jones, one Adolph Hitler, Newt Gingrich, Jerry Fallwell, Pat Roberts and many, many other putrid characters such as those already mentioned.  If this weren't enough, Christianity has also espoused things like abstinence, prohibited gay marriage, infringed on a woman's reproductive rights, interference with science in campaigns such a denial of evolution, the spread of "intelligence design," etc. So, please, do yourselves a favor and shut the fuck up!  When it comes to intolerance, hatred, violence and ignorance no other religion can top Christianity.
