Julia Child was a graduate of Smith College in Massachusetts. Smith College is a women's college and also, interestingly, a hotbed of CIA recruitment. Another famous "change agent" who went to Smith was Gloria Steinem

Allow me a moment off-topic as I discuss Colon Powell (sic), the only man I'm aware of on his level, so influential in military philosopy, the only man I'm aware of who built a doctrine and then destroyed it almost single-handedly.
Colon Powell (sic) lives but the "Powell Doctrine" is DEAD AS A DOORNAIL.
